Burrinja Climate Change Biennale - Upwey, Victoria - 2017

Global in nature, national in scope and local in action, the Burrinja Climate Change Biennale provides a platform for events addressing one of the most pressing topics of our time.

My collection of slugs wore ‘protective clothing’ for their journey of displacement, made from litter I collected around our local cemetery, native waterways and forests. I wanted to highlight both the global refugee crisis happening due to climate change and the desperate measures animals are taking to survive in this changing world.
